This course focuses on all aspects related to 3D CGI creation and Visual Effects for Movies, Games and Advertising. It includes modules on the Fundamentals of Visual Effects & Pre-production design for VFX followed by the 3D CGI Pipeline - 3D Modeling, Texturing & Shading, Lighting, Rendering, Animation, FX & Dynamics & Mocap Animation. Besides, there are modules on VFX techniques such as Roto & Roto Prep, Tracking & Matchmoving, CG integration, Camera projection and VFX Compositing. At the end of Term 2, the student creates an impressive showreel in their area of specialization, which gets them their desired job in the VFX industry.
